I expect to study more in depth about designing. What I am excited to learn about is how to design with professionalism and yet still have my own style. A style is what makes the designer stand out but the professionalism is what gets the job. In this class, I would like to learn how to have both.
Any project that would help to achieve having style and professionalism; whether it be a logo or 10 page program, individual or group assignments, I am open to all. To have the ability to design for whatever the occasion and still show the kind of designer I am. A specific exploration I would love to venture in through this class is how to sell myself as a designer not just designing for curtain companies.
Biggest concern is becoming like any other designer where the work being produced is good and not epic. To go along with that, not being able to get thoughts on paper and not being able to design the best that I have the potential to. Through this class, I also look forward to understand more about process.
